Brain Bags Support Your Child’s Early Literacy

Menomonee Falls parents, reading to your infant is one of the most important things you can do. When you read to your child, it supports brain development that is crucial for long-term success in school and beyond.

Want free resources to learn more about how to build early literacy skills?

The Collective Impact Early Literacy Committee has created a Brain Bag available through the Menomonee Falls Public Library.

Each Brain Bag includes:

  • A guide to support babies’ brain development
  • A children’s book
  • Educational and informational resources from local partner organizations

To get your very own Brain Bag, stop by the children’s desk at Menomonee Falls Public Library. Call the children’s department at 262-532-8915 with any questions.

Additional tips for brain development can be found in the Brain Bag’s resources.

Special thanks to Froedtert Menomonee Falls for the Community Outreach Grant and Holy Cross Lutheran Church for grant funding for translation.
