FIT in the Parks
FIT in the Parks is a health and wellness initiative brought to you by Village of Menomonee Falls community partners as part of the Live Well Waukesha County initiative. 15 FREE activites will be held in various parks throughout the Village this summer. Registration is required, but walk in's will be accommodated as space allows.

Friday, May 3 from 7:00-9:00 pm @ Menomonee Park Beach House
Join us for a self-guided walk around Menomonee County Park to kick off the "Live Well Waukesha County" initiative. Candles will be available to light the way after dusk, or come early and enjoy the park's natural beauty at sunset. Free admission to the park for all participants. A special thanks to Waukesha County CHIPP Action Team for providing this event.

Join Barre District Menomonee Falls instructors for a mat (no barre required) barre class in the park. Barre is a low impact, high result, full body hybrid fitness routine that utilizes movements and positions from dance, pilates, yoga and functional strength training. Focus will be on optimal alignment and posture to improve balance, coordination, stability, strength and overall function. This class will also strengthen you both physically and mentally while helping you tone and elongate muscles and increase flexibility. This workout is perfect for everyone as instructors will offer modifications for every level. Register

Boot camp is a group exercise experience where we encourage participants to push themselves past their plateaus. We mix traditional calisthenic and body weight exercise with interval and strength training. Military style exercises and functional movements like push-ups, squats, sprints, and sit-ups provide a killer workout and a chance to get a great sweat going! Register

Partner with your kids in simple animated poses, games, and breathing exercises that help to strengthen coordination and build body awareness. This class promises fun for the whole family because you can do yoga together forever! Please bring a yoga mat or blanket, and a water bottle. Register

Peace Yoga Studio & Wellness Center is excited to offer Yoga in the Park, an all level outdoor yoga class. Discover the many benefits of yoga: stretching, balancing, strengthening muscles and becoming more mindful and present. This class is for adults and children that are able to participate in an hour long class. Please bring your own yoga mat. Stay after Yoga on July 13 and enjoy a refreshment at Old Falls Village Beer Garden from 4:00-9:00 pm. Register

- 1:15 pm - Begin individual painting
- 3:45 pm - Regroup for Create.
- 4:30 pm- End of event. Stay after and share a refreshment and snack at the Old Falls Village Beer Garden!
Supplies will be based on individual medium and a list of supplies of general use will be available at the CE & Rec Office.
