Be a hero! Make a difference. Join the Healthcare Academy and Versiti Blood Center to save lives April 4th. Make your blood donation appointment by this Friday. Stop at the table in the cafeteria before school or at lunch, see Mrs. Tarcin in Room 126, scan the QR code on the yellow flyers around school, or ask any student in the Healthcare Academy to help you sign up.

March 10th marks the start of Ramadan 2024 - this year it falls from March 10-April 9th. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community. It is celebrated as the month in which the Quran, the holy book for Muslims, was revealed to the prophet Muhammad. During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, and break their fast with family and friends after sunset. Ramadan is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, the fundamental principles of the faith.

The Back-to-School Fair will be held on Wednesday, August 14, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, August 15, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in MFHS gym and cafeteria.

Riverside Elementary school is looking for high school student volunteers to serve as tutors for 3-5 graders. The program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-4:30 through mid-May.
