NEW!

BAKE SALE MONDAY! Attention all students! Your AVID 11 classmates every other Monday bake sale is back this Monday, December 5. AVID is fundraising for a future college trip. Please help out by buying their delicious treats during all the lunch hours.

SERVICE HOURS: And now a word from the Booster Club. Students, are you looking for service hours for the NHS or another group? The Booster Club can help with that! Please consider signing up to help out at our concessions during a Girls or Boys Basketball event. Click here to sign up today!

URGENT!

JR. OPTIMIST: The Junior Optimist Club is kicking off their first meeting on Friday, December 2 in Mrs. Leon’s room (147) during Phoenix Time and all are welcome. This is a great way to rack up volunteer hours, meet new people, and get into the holiday spirit by helping out the community. There will also be a delicious treat for anyone who comes to the meeting. Hope to see you there!

FOOD DRIVE! The National Honor Society will be holding a food drive to benefit the Menomonee Falls Food Pantry December 5-15. Items will be collected in 4th hour classes. Each department has been assigned a specific type of food item so check with your 4th hour teacher. Donuts will be provided to the class with the most items and also to the class with the highest item-to-student ratio.

‘TIS THE SEASON! Attention Seniors! The senior class is raising money to be able to provide families in need in our high school community with food, clothing, books, and other items. There will be a competition between the Class of 2023 Seniors A-L and Seniors M-Z. Donate through RevTrak or bring your cash to Mrs. Kessler in Room 116! The winning group gets bragging rights, but even better - together we help others in need.

BLOOD DRIVE- Did you know that one pint of blood can save three lives? The Healthcare Academy is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on Tuesday, December 6 from 7:30- 1:30. Sign up before Tuesday, November 22 during your lunch period and get a $10 Amazon Gift Card just for donating.

JUNIORS & SENIORS who are interested in a career in law enforcement, there is a great opportunity for you this summer! The WI Legion is sponsoring a week-long training academy in July. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

CAFETERIA NEWS! Menomonee Falls High School values students having access to breakfast and students being to class on time. With that in mind, we are adding another breakfast line to be able to serve students quicker. Breakfast will be served from 7:00- 7:47 and again 9:17-9:21. If you are in line at 7:47 or 9:21 you will be asked to go to class. No breakfast will be served during class time.

HEY FALLS STUDENTS! If you are looking for a great way to earn community service hours, consider being a volunteer tutor for Eras. You will be matched with a 3-5 grade student to help them with math and reading skills. The program runs now through May at Riverside Elementary School. Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 3:45-4:30. Apply to be a volunteer at www.eras.org or

RUN A ROBOT! There is still time to join Falls Robotics team, Arsenal Engineering. Meetings are currently held on Thursday nights from 6-8pm in room 37. Any questions please reach out to Mrs. Bell or Mr. Warner.

LOOKING FOR SERVICE HOURS? Froedtert Menomonee Falls has off-site opportunities (do it as a group or individual). They are looking for a group to hold a personal care items (toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.) drive for the Outreach Clinic, as well as “Thank you” (Christmas or Thanksgiving theme cards for the staff (1300 needed). ACTIVITIES AND CLUBS: Did you know that MFHS offers over 30 different clubs and groups of all kinds? It’s true. Two things you should know about clubs/activities: 1. You need to register. FALLS PRIDE: It’s a common phrase that you will see and hear often. But it’s more than just words – it’s how we roll at MFHS! We respect the environment, our fellow classmates, and our staff. Each month, we look to recognize “excellence” in our MFHS student body with a special breakfast. Be excellent. Get recognized. Enjoy breakfast. It’s all about Falls Pride!
