PARKING PASSES: Semester 2 Parking Passes will be available for pick up starting Tuesday, January 18. If you have not purchased a parking pass, please do so online thru Rev Trak. If you have already purchased your pass just come to the main office and pick it up! You must have a Semester 2 pass in your vehicle starting Monday, January 24.
IT’S STAFF MUSIC FRIDAY!! Each week, you will hear a staff member's playlist before school and during passing periods. Based on the music played and the clues provided, your task is to guess who the staff member is that chose the playlist. Answers can be submitted on the high school home page, student life, forms and documents, at the bottom of student forms or by clicking here. The winner will be notified during Monday morning's announcements. The winner will receive a gift card and some Falls swag. Rock on MFHS!!!!

SOFTBALL: Girls! If you are interested in playing softball, please join the team for open gym on Tuesday nights from 7:30-9 PM and Saturdays noon-2 pm. Work on your skills! Bring a friend!
BOWLING FUNDRAISER: Mark your calendars now to eat dinner at AJ O’Brady’s on Sunday, January 16 between 4 and 9 pm. The Falls bowling teams will receive 10% of all sales during that time. AJ’s is located at N88W16495 Main Street in the Falls. Don’t forget to mention that you’re supporting the bowling team!
STUDENT COUNCIL: There will be a Student Council meeting after school on Tuesday February 18. They will be taking a group group photo, so make sure you are there!
NEWS FROM THE CAFETERIA: There will be slight changes made to help improve the lunches and breakfasts being offered in the district. coming up starting on Monday January 24, we will be implementing the use of registers for lunch. Each student should be prepared to scan their ID badge or enter their number when getting a free lunch.
ATTENTION FRESHMAN - Interested in joining an Academy next year? Applications are now available for students to apply for any of our FIVE Academies; Business Academy, Design, Communication, & Media Academy, Educator Academy, Healthcare Academy and the STEM Academy. Applications are due in February during course registration.
VOLUNTEER! The Falls Booster Club is in need of concessions volunteers for basketball games, wrestling matches and gymnastics meets. If you need volunteer hours, this is an easy way to get some in and the Boosters need your help! Click here to sign up.
NOT FEELING WELL? Please ask your teacher for a pass to the health room. Students should NOT be contacting parents /guardians themselves to go home when not feeling well. Following health room procedures will help us ensure the safety and security of students at school so we know who is in the building at all times.
HELP WANTED: Need some extra cash? The high school kitchen staff is looking to hire a few students during lunch times to help with registration, putting away grocery orders and a few other things. 4-5 hours a week and you’re already here! Speak to Ms. Lita Smith in the kitchen between 1-2:30 PM.
EARN CASH! Interested in earning some extra money? Want to add something valuable to your resume? The maintenance department at MFHS has several student opportunities. If you are interested, please stop by Room 131 and ask for Mr. Knodl.
MFHS WRITING CENTER is open to students in Rm 144 for blocks 3/4 and 5/6 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for 20-minute sessions, including all lunches. On Wednesdays, the Writing Center also offers two 15-minute sessions for 7/8. The Writing Center offers coaching for all varieties of writing assignments across curriculum as well as every part in the process from brainstorming through revision. You can also use these services for college and scholarship essays, work applications and ACT writing preparation. Please sign up via the Writing Center sign up through the Schoology page.
ACTIVITIES AND CLUBS: Did you know that MFHS offers over 30 different clubs and groups of all kinds? It’s true. Two things you should know about clubs/activities: 1. You need to register.
