Hello Freshmen and Parents/Guardians of Freshmen,
9th Grade is a very important transition year for students. You (or your child) will receive two counselor-led presentations this school year. The goals of these yearly contacts are to meet with our students, provide support and resources, and to continually work toward college, career, and community readiness.
An important tool we use in achieving these goals is your child’s personal Naviance Student account. This resource will be a great asset to you and your child throughout high school.
The role of the School Counselor is to promote a student’s social/emotional, career, and academic growth. We highly value communication with our students and families and encourage you to contact us with any questions or concerns. We look forward to a great school year!
Warmest Regards,
MFHS School Counselors
