- Early Release Wednesdays- Every Wednesday, students will be released early from school so that teachers can collaborate, plan, learn, grow, and engage in professional development. School will begin at the same time, 8:45 a.m., but students will be released at 2:30 p.m. Please make note of this important Wednesday time.

- College/University Wednesdays- Every Wednesday we encourage students to wear their favorite college/university. This is a fun way to remind students that our goal is to prepare students for opportunities beyond Menomonee Falls High School including college if they so choose.

If you need any Valley View items, check out our online school store that is open now through the end of the day on September 11th. Week of September 11
Hello Valley View Families,
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far. It was a fantastic start to the school year-- what a neat group of kids! We worked hard this past week at our PBIS stations where students were taught and then had an opportunity to practice the expectations (showing Knight Pride) in each area. We also have a new incentive this year called, "Knight Cash" where students can earn tickets/cash for following expectations to spend at our new school store. Here are a few reminders for the week ahead and beyond:
- Student Drop Off & Pick Up- Please watch this video to familiarize yourself with our student drop off and pick up procedures. https://vimeo.com/226957797
- Drop-off- If you are dropping your child off at school in the morning, please allow students to get out of the car door independently if possible. We would prefer you do not park and get out of your car in the drop off line.
- Quicker Drop- Off- Are you looking to drop off your child in the morning without waiting in line? An alternative would be to park on Tours Drive, across from the school, and have our crossing guard, Mr. Mike, walk your child safely across Town Hall where your child can take the path closest to the hospital down to the playground.
- Car Pick-up- If you are picking up your child at the end of the day in our car pick up line, if you could please do us a favor, which will hopefully help the line more quicker. Please have your child's first and last name taped to one of the windows facing the school to we can clearly see it.
- School Hours- 8:45 a.m.-3:45 p.m. Supervision on the playground begins at 8:30 a.m. For the safety of our students, we kindly ask that students be dropped off between 8:30-8:45 a.m., and not earlier. Thank you!
- Hero Run- Please see this letter for more information about our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Hero Run. There are some great prizes too!
- School Website- Please visit our website as we have a plethora of information especially under the "Parents" and "Back-to-School" tabs. Check it out: https://www.fallsschools.org/valleyview

Please fill out this survey (just one time per family) as soon as possible, by Friday, October 27. Thank you!
